Hi, I am
Nouman,
I'm a passionate AI/ML Engineer and MLOps specialist focused on translating theoretical models into high-performance production systems. Combining deep learning expertise with modern DevOps practices, I build robust pipelines that scale seamlessly in the cloud. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at COMSATS University Islamabad, I design and deploy end-to-end intelligent solutions engineered for real-world impact.

What drives me technically?
My core focus is AI/ML engineering — specifically building computer vision systems, training deep learning models, and deploying them reliably in production environments. I've fine-tuned YOLOv8 for real-time low-light object detection, built RAG-powered LLM pipelines, and worked with AWS SageMaker to train and serve ML models at scale. I care deeply about what happens after the model is trained.
On the MLOps and DevOps side, I work with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, SageMaker) to automate training pipelines, containerise model serving, and deploy cloud-native AI applications. I hold an AWS Cloud Bootcamp certification and a KodeKloud DevOps Mastery certification — practical training that went straight into real projects.
Beyond ML, I build full-stack applications with React, FastAPI, and Supabase when the problem demands it — like Compakt, my URL shortener with QR codes, password protection, and click analytics. Everything I build is aimed at one outcome: systems that work reliably in the real world, not just in a notebook.
My Bio
Biography,
a few words
I'm Nouman Zahid, a Computer Science student at COMSATS University Islamabad (Class of 2027), with a singular focus: building AI systems that don't just perform well in notebooks — but scale reliably in production. My journey started with classical ML, moved into deep learning and computer vision, and now sits firmly at the intersection of AI engineering and DevOps.
I completed a 3-month intensive AWS Cloud Bootcamp at CloudSec Network (Canada, Remote) in 2025, where I got hands-on with EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPCs, and cloud security architecture. Combined with my KodeKloud DevOps Mastery certification, I'm building the infrastructure knowledge to match my ML engineering skills.
Outside of AI/ML, I'm a competitive programmer (LeetCode), an open-source contributor, and someone who genuinely enjoys the challenge of going from a research paper to a deployed, monitored, production system. I'm currently seeking internship opportunities in MLOps, AI DevOps, or cloud-native AI engineering.
